Just got a ME tourist visa from the embassy in London. How much THB do I need to show if asked at immigration in Bkk. Is it 10,000 ? Cheers

It is required by law, last year according the numbers 35 million tourist came into Thailand. 1760 got refused entry with Visa issues. So a small change to be asked or get refused, but the decision to respect the Thai law or not is on you. I never been asked before is not an excuse or a good advice.
