How long does the 800,000 baht needed to renew/extend a retirement visa (non imm oa) have to be in your bank account.
I know you must have a minimum of 400,000 in there all year but then either two or 3 months before renewal it must be 800,000 and must remain at 800,000 either 2 or 3 months after
renewal.
Can anyone confirm please???

TLDR : Answer Summary
To renew or extend a retirement visa (NON-O) in Thailand, you need to show that you have 800,000 baht in your bank account for a minimum of 2 months prior to the renewal and for 3 months after the renewal. Additionally, the balance must not fall below 400,000 baht at any time during the year.

that’s why I have a hoard of copy and paste replies. The OP generally doesn’t know that it’s been asked a million times. But if we can help then we will try. Generally they don’t know there’s a search feature.
- do you have a pic of the page for the requirements to apply for a non-o visa (retirement purpose) while in Thailand from visa exempt entry if it needs that specified?
2 months prior and three months after. You are correct the balance may not go below 400k for the rest of the year and would be needed to be topped back up to 800k two months prior to your next application.
