I applied at London thai embassey in June got it in August left uk in july left without it got a 30 day tourist visa on landing when it came I had to go to Vietnam to activate it

You should contact them. Sometimes the applications stall out and calling them seems to get things moving again.

mine took 30 days but it was also right after they started accepting applications last year. Some recent reports of only a few weeks. But there's been some holidays in October as well.
