Hello!

I have a valid Visa until March 24th (for 2 months).

I'm mexican and I am going to get a 30 days extension at the local Thai immigration office at Chiang Rai.

My question is, how much time in advance could I get the 30 day extension?

Could I attend the immigration office 30 days before my expiration day so I can enjoy the 30 days that I have left, plus the 30 of extension? And leave until April 24th, or should I do it 2 or 3 days before my last 30 days expire?

I would like to stay in Thailand until April 24.

Just did the calculations:

Admitted until 24 March

- 30 days, makes 24 Feb the first day possible to apply for the 30 days Extension of Stay.

24 March plus 30 days makes 23 April as last day.

Also remember that if you get 30 days extension from March 24, you will need to leave by midnight April 23. Trivial I know, but best not to overstay by accident.

If it's a 90 day tourist visa, he'll be fine. February only has 28 days, if I remember correctly.

You can apply for an Extension of Stay in the time frame 30 days before the Admitted until date stamped in your passport.

So if I got my extension on the 22 of February which is 30 days before my visa expires I will get the 30 days extension until the 23rd of April? THANK YOU!!
