I am Polish guy living and working in UK. I want to marry a wounderfull Thai woman, she wants this too. I would like to live on Thailand . She lives in Pattaya and I want to stay there. Could anyone give me answer how to do this , please?

I dont understand all negative comments and I dont even answer. Everytime I see her , I dont pay anything and I stay with her for free. I live in her house and use her car. We spend all the time online talking and even sleepping when I am away. What is wrong with you guys?

I have seen at least half a dozen people whose lives were totally screwed up after going down this route.

Anyone who thinks of marrying a Thai lady should definitely read this book available on Amazon before taking any foolish or rash decision.

Get as much £ as u can here in uk, then go there and back a few times but work here...then if ur English is goid ebough go and teach English as a NNES, ud prob only get 30k bhat a month but youll get the all important work visa.

It’s all about money. Either you have a business you can operate from or in Thailand, have a job you can work in or from Thailand or have enough assets already to move to Thailand and retire.

That’s really all there is to it, unless she makes enough money from her business to support you.

Once you’ve sorted out your money situation. you just have to see which visa type makes the most sense given your age, finances and whether or not you’re willing to marry her.

I won’t say the obvious as your question is how to live and marry in Thailand, but I will just repeat:

1. Come and live with her at least 3-6 months before attempting anything

2. Marry no marry you can come as a tourist and do visa runs to achieve this length of stay

3. If over 50 you can apply for retirement visa 1 year

I agree, especially about the minimum of 6 months, more like one year or more. You need a lot of time to get to know someone and short visits do not count. If she is interested in you she does not need to marry right away and will wait, if it is you that wants to marry right away, buyer be warned.
