A Question that properly been up here before :) My friends workpermit and employment is expired this month, but his Non B will expire in December. He wish to go next week to Sawannakhet and change to a Non O. Question is do he need to have his Non B cancelled first or can he just cross the border and apply for the new visa? TIA

What does your friend and you call a Non B. If your friend has a Non Immigrant B visa sticker in his passport and left Thailand every 90 days to buy a new one he can stay till the Admitted until date stamped inside his passport
