TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM30 may not expire with a short exit and re-entry, but some immigration offices in Pattaya may require a new TM30 to be filed. It's suggested to check with your local office during the extension process or inquire in local expat groups for more feedback on specific office practices.
If you exit/re-enter the country and are staying at the same address SOME immigration offices do not require you to file a new TM30
BUT
with that being said SOME do ๐
So I guess it's gonna take you going for your extension to find out if you should have filed a new TM30 when you came back or not. Post on Pattaya F/B group and see what they say.
Some offices are hella hard core on having one filed again when you come in out of the country
you should be OK. I use Jomtien immigration and as long as you are returning to the same home address on file with them, no need to file a new TM30 with them.
i know it wasn't all that helpful of an answer but with over 80 offices in the country you just don't know between them what each one does about the TM30
