Hi there, just got my second covid extension yesterday after entering on a visa exemption stamp.
Does the stamp highlighted on my passport page mean that after 90 days from my entry in the country I have to show up at the immigration and notify my current address?
Sorry, first time happening and I'm a little confused.
TIA for your help.
Rob

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, Rob, inquires about the requirement to report his address to immigration after receiving a second Covid extension on a visa exemption stamp in Thailand. Community members suggest checking with the immigration office for clarity on the 90-day reporting requirement specific to Covid extensions, emphasizing that the stamp is standard for all extensions.
it is the first Covid19 extension I come to see where they issued more than 60 days. Check! February 10th thru April 27th ! That's 77 days. WTF? They must have added it on top of his previous extension
remember IF you get an extension for the same reason (Like the O/P, who was on a covid extension and getting another one) the 60 days is added to your expiration date.

Yeah I guess that's because my first extension ends at the end of this month and they start counting from then? π€
So you got a second 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19?

that is just a stamp they put on ALL extensions and you need to ask the immigration office if you need to do a 90 day report on a covid extension or not
itβs not standard though. Some immigration offices require a 90 day report when a person is physically in Thailand for 90 days, and others require it if a person is on an extension of stay that is longer then 90 days.
He needs to ask the immigration office to confirm.
MOST offices don't require people who entered visa exempt and then took a covid extension to do 90 day reporting BUT some do and it's just a crap shoot as to whether the Uttaradit office does it or not. Sorry to be so vague about it but with over 70 offices it's too hard to track π
that's alright, makes perfect sense. I'll sort it out by giving them a call or showing up in person. Lucky enough the office is always empty and everyone is really chill over there. Thanks for your time, always very helpful ππΌ
