I get my Non-O based on retirement stamped in today. I converted from a MTV entry. I have a couple of questions:
- Iโve been in Thailand 90 days since my last entry as of tomorrow. Do I need to do a 90 day report even though Iโve been to immigration twice in the last monthโฆ MTV 30 day extension and conversion to Non-O?
- How long is a multiple re-entry permit valid? For example, is it valid only to the end of the current permitted to stay stamp or good for a year? My Non-O stamp will be good till late November and Iโll do a one year extension. I have multiple trips in the next year but only one in the next couple of months during my initial Non-O. Is it worth getting the multiple re-entry now or just do a single now and then the multiple after the year extension is stamped in?
Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has successfully converted to a Non-O visa based on retirement and has questions regarding the 90-day reporting requirement and the validity of re-entry permits. It is clarified that the 90-day reporting does not begin until an individual has received a one-year extension. Additionally, multiple re-entry permits are valid until the current stamp from the Non-O visa expires, and a new permit will need to be obtained once the year extension is granted.

AND
once you get the year extension you will have to get a NEW re-entry permit and it will be good for the whole year

That's when they're gonna put a paper in your passport telling you when your first 90 day report is due
