TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the requirement for updating the TM30 upon returning to Thailand after a trip to Singapore with a working visa. The discussion highlights that the TM30 must be updated following re-entry, preferably within 24 hours. Users mention different experiences with local immigration offices, emphasizing the importance of ensuring that the TM30 is filed properly and on time. They also advise bringing necessary documents, including the condo lease agreement and copies of passport pages with the arrival stamp.
maybe its a requirement for some immi centres and others not

Just came from Chaengwatthana immigration after taking care of my 90 day reporting. They require a TM30 and you can get it done at the same immigration office since you didnβt take care of it within 24hrs of coming back from SG. Just plan on spending half a day there π

You will need to show them your condo lease agreement for the TM 30 and copies of your passport pages with arrival stamp from SG

BTW, Iβm on a non-O retirement visa, so not sure if itβs any different for a work visa

Your 90 day reporting is reset from the day your arrived back in Thailand

Online TM30 can only be done within 24 hours of arrival otherwise the website does not accept it. I faced this issue after traveling abroad with a multiple re-entry permit. If your landlord didnβt file within 24hrs then you need to go to Immigration office and take care of it. I stood in two separate lines, first to get my TM30 and then to do the 90 day reporting, make sure you take a copy of your condo lease and arrival stamp
i left and came back and did a new tm30 2 months ago

Yes you will as Immigration are now insisting that a TM30 must be dated after your most recent entry stamp. Your 90 day reporting reset to day 1 when you re-entered.
that's not how it works. The policy is different based on each immigration office, but at that office the policy is for everyone. Just be happy you're not using an office that requires a new TM30 anytime you spend the night away from home. But the policy could change any time.
Besides that wouldn't make any sense because tourist visa people can't leave the country and return. If there was a policy it would be for working visa and not tourist visa.
