I just wanted to seek some clarification on an aspect I overlooked. The 60-day extension of stay (for visiting my wife), was I supposed to cancel that at immigration?

You can't get any new visa type from the original (yet expired) entry of the Non-O you're on right now.

Seeing as you already got the 60 day visit family extension your only option would be to meet the financial requirements and get a year extension.

OR

Being on amnesty you ride it out and see what they tell amnesty holders to do when it runs out..

then the only option is the year extension based on meeting the financial requirements (if your Non-O is based on marriage to at thai) that's the only extension available to you and you can do it right from the amnesty you're on now.

oh thanks. Hate waking up thinking I completely missed something. Still riding the wave at the moment, Will be getting a non-imm B, but not sure how I'm getting out of the country to get it.
