My insurance company stated that"  Each individual trip is insured for a maximum travel period of 56 days" . Will they let me in if i have a flight back before 56 days or do i need the insurance to cover at least 60 days?

My understanding is the average thai Royal police immigration officer could not read your insurance policy anyway , so it can't be checked at entry . So where is it checked ?

U have to get the insurance before U get into Thailand, then show the Thai embassy in your country that U have the insurance before they will give you a Coe to enter Thailand, if U don't get the Coe I don't think U get on the plane to Thailand

Okay , you understand insurance policies and you think the Thai government offical is going to read and examine your policy .

Can't see it as a chance in hell , in reality .

From an underwriter i can buy anything . Depending exactly on conditions imposed . No thai offical can accurately assess that .

I just buy a specific 100,000 cover on any event for the length of time , offered by any company that pops up and sells it to me . Haha . What a fantastic business model . I love it .

some people on this site have told story of being knocked back because insurance didn't specify covid 19 , I just got my visa approved yesterday in Australia about to buy insurance and book asq room which I then have to send to the Thai embassy for approval

You need any required insurance to cover the full time your visa allows you to stay. If you have a 60 day, then 6/ days, a 90 day then 90 days, and one full year for a year visa, even if it is multi-entry.

U need to show insurance for every day U are in Thailand that's all there is to it , if not insured for the whole time then U will not get in

yes I'm very sure if you don't have covid insurance at the least then U will not get a Coe to enter Thailand , some visa U need more than covid insurance

I have the same kind of insurance and I am no more covered because I stuck here for one year now. It’s not a request of government to come in Thailand and it’s up to you to take the risk or not I think. But I arrived here before Covid

All new visas being issued for entry into Thailand now require, at minimum, the Covid-only insurance with minimum coverage of 100,000k.
