It's a bit difficult to make sense of all the different forms and types of extensions so I'll better ask just to be safe.

I'm applying for my first 30-day extension (on top of my on-entry 30-day visa). Do I need to bring a TM-30 form (filled by the hotel) or can I just walk into the office with the required documents and all the copies?

Phangan immigration has an information board outside with all the documents listed for each kind of extension. And fotos of how the TM30 needs to look like! People keep having problems with wrong kind of TM30 give by their accommodation. So if you are on Phangan already, best to just drive by ☺️

Thank you for the kind response. I actually stopped by the office today, there was a huge queue and the information board seemed to list only information for the 60-day COVID extension and 90-day and in general, felt confusing and busy. I will try again and hopefully, it will make more sense this time 😅

I don't like Phangan immigration at all. I keep on going to Samui 😅 there you definitely don't need a TM30!! And it's pretty empty these days.

. I will most likely apply for the extension at the Phangan Immigration Office. For the TM30 I can simply ask my hotel, they will likely know what it is, right?

If you are asked TM30 receipt for a 30days tourism tension application depends on your local immigration office. If you want to be safe, bring the TM30 receipt as a paper copy.
