Can someone confirm if this is correct please ..

If you have done two border bounces on visa exemption stamps (UK passport) at Malaysian land borders in the last six months , can you still cross the land border on your next visit if you purchase a 60 day tourist visa from the Thai Consulate ?

I assumed max 2 land border crossings irrespective of visa or visa exemption but I've been told that is not the case.

Secondly , if you cannot cross the land border with the tourist visa , would flying from Malaysia into Thailand be acceptable ?

Okay the "two in a year" rule is like this;

People from 52 countries (UK being one) can enter thailand by land TWO times without a visa (on the visa exempt entry program) in a calendar year (Jan 1 - Dec 31)

There is no 6 month anything..

AND

If you have a valid VISA you can enter by land as much as you want
