Some advice please.

Posting on behalf of a friend of mine, who is not a member of the page, or at all internet savvy.

He is currently in Thailand with an extension of stay based on marriage (he has 6 previous extensions on the same basis) valid till Feb 2020.

He now plans to expand his knowledge and enrol at a language school for a course in order to learn Thai.

Is that accepable on his current "visa/extension" or does he need to change to a NON-ED?
