Can anyone tell me whether if you’ve finished your 60 days as an Aussie in Thailand , whether can you come back in again for another 30 days a week later? TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the possibility of re-entering Thailand as an Australian after a 60-day stay. Users clarified that while only a 60-day visa-exempt entry is available upon arrival, travelers can extend their stay at an immigration office for 1900 baht. However, leaving Thailand allows for a new 60-day entry upon re-entry. It is recommended to avoid overstaying to prevent fines or negative impacts on future visa applications.
Thanks everyone. The reason I’m asking is if I just get an internal extension I’ll end up overstaying the extension by 4 days! I booked my flight before I knew about the new 60 days on arrival and so just assumed that I’d have to do a vis run after one extension as I’m here for 3 months ( and 4 days!)
I would say generally don't overstay. Some people say there's no problem but if you for whatever reason getting to trouble if the police you get arrested and deported....
You also get a lost stamp in your passport if you leave and the finest 500 baht a day. Oh that stamp doesn't look good for any other visa and any other country you may apply.... Depending on the country.
Why don't you take a week and go visit Cambodia? Then when you go back you get another sixty days
that’s what I was thinking. I just wanted to confirm that you get the same treatment on the way in again!🙂

if you are only wanting to max out your time IN thailand why not just take the one 30 day extension at the immigration office for 1900baht? You can get that one time on the free 60 day entry stamp
There is no 30 day entry stamp 🙁 You show up without a visa you get stamped in for 60 days on the visa exempt entry program
