TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring whether they can renew their Non-O retirement visa from Ireland or if they must do so while in Thailand. Comments clarify that visa renewals must be done in Thailand, not from abroad, and highlight that the user's presence is necessary for the renewal process.

Tod what happens if I don't renew the extension and I want the yearly extension again in the future..do I start all over again and apply for 3 months initially
, you will have to start the process from scratch if your extension i expired during you are out of Thailand. Get an initial Non-O visa for 90 days, then follwoing 1-year extension.

I think if you looked at the stamp IN your passport you'd see the words "extension of stay permitted until" and it has the date Mar 24, 2025 on it (That is not a visa)
You cannot 'renew' it outside the country. You have to be inside thailand before the current extension expires to apply for a new yearly extension at the immigration office where you live.
