Originally I planned to apply for marriage visa in Thailand. Family loss meant that I left Thailand and will apply from the Uk and show the 10k gbp they asking for.
Can the 400k that I placed into bkk bank in Jan this year now be moved and not required?
Thanks for advice

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster asks about the requirement to maintain 400,000 baht in a Thai bank while applying for a marriage visa from the UK after leaving Thailand. The comments clarify that the 400k requirement still applies, and suggest obtaining a different entry visa or a tourist visa to then apply for a 90-day Non-O visa.
NON-O RETIREMENT VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES
Go to the Retirement Visa Section for information on requirements, including age restrictions, financial requirements, and necessary documentation.
For immediate assistance, contact Thai Visa Centre directly via LINE at @ThaiVisaCentre or Email them.
Explore recent discussions by using the Non-O Retirement Visa tag in the search box at the top of the page.
Keep in mind that there are substantial insurance requirements when purchasing a Non-O visa based on marriage in the UK from a thai consulate (and they are not required to get the visa issued inside thailand)
I would recommend instead that you get a single entry tourist visa OR come in on a 30 day visa exempt entry and then go to your immigration office and apply for the 90 day Non-O visa for 2000baht.
You already have the funds in a thai bank account in your name, so you should be able to do it from a 30 day visa exempt entry OR a tourist visa entry
to be honest I checked google and it stated marriage didn’t need the medical insurance requirement so found this somewhat contradictory but I shall heed yr advice and do inside Thailand then on safe side.
