TLDR : Answer Summary
You can apply for a 30-day extension for your 60-day visa in Thailand, but the timing depends on your location. In Bangkok and Chiang Mai, it is advisable to apply when you have 45 days or less remaining on your initial visa. In other locations, applications are accepted when you have 30 days or less left, with some places requiring you to wait until you have 2 weeks or less.
