Hello. Immigration officers say that if one gets a 7 days extension (2m+1m+7d), he cannot extend visa any more even if he will get a letter from an embassy after. And also cannot convert it to another type of visa.

Is it truth? Did anyone extended his visa with the letter after a 7 -days extension?

Also important. If you applied 30 days covid19 extension, they gave you 15 days stamp (under consideration) and said to come again for 15 more days in 15 days. How would the second stamp you are going to get in 15 days will look like?

nope, you're done with THAT stamp. You can't apply for any VISA inside the country off it

OR I should say you have never before been able to do it. Check with your immigration office to see what they say

I am happy to announce that I am 100% completely WRONG about not being able to get an emergency covid-19 extension from a 7 day application for extension not approved stamp.

You CAN most definitely get it if you have your embassy letter :)

until someone shows they actually got a 30 day "unable to travel due to covid-19" extension FROM a 7 day application for extension not approved I would say that is correct. :O

That 7 days is the final stamp you can get and then you leave the country after that.. :/

There is no 7 day Extension of Stay in Thailand. If you apply and you can not meet the requirements the application will be NOT approved and you get 7 days to leave the country.

As it is know that leaving the country could be a little difficult special if you have to do it within 7 days, you can apply for an emergency Extension of Stay using the letter from your Embassy.
