I thought.... (famous last words) that if I did a bounce a few days before my one year non-Imm b multi expired (on the 19th of Nov) I would ‘stretch’ another 90 days out of it..  I’ve had to bounce today as the stamp says but the immigration officer had a good ‘doodle’ on it and appears to have scuppered my futile optimism, thoughts?

I have done it in past, stretching a 1 year to 15 months. But don't get to out of synch with your work permit. (Need 9 months on it to renew your non b at penang, 6 months at khota bhuru)

any year long multi-entry Non-Immigrant type visa that you get from a consulate in another country can always be used to get 90 day stays for 15 months; as long as you bounce out and back in one last time before the visa itself expires to get the final 90 day stamp

I think you're talking about getting a yearly extension of stay inside the country at the immigration office, and in that case you're right they're issued for a year at a time.

:/ It is totally possible to get 15 months of stay out of a year-long, multi-entry Non-Immigrant type visa (that you get from a thai consulate in another country)

You got 90 days on this bounce and IF you bounce once more just before your Non-B expires (Nov 19th) you'd get another 90 days.

If your visa expires 19th October, why has he written the 19th November on it?

It is a Multiple Entry Non Immigrant Visa, so you are free to leave and come back as you wish and get 90 days Admitted until on entry. You can still leave and come back on or just before 19 Nov to get a new 90 days of stay.

Thank you Robert.. that’s what I thought, why did he feel the need to write the date of my non-b expiry there then? Maybe it’s because the actual visa is still attached to my old passport. Who knows. I need to be sure as the last thing I want to do is bounce a day or two before the 19th of Nov and leave myself with no time to get a new visa. 🙏🏻
