Hi everyone! I am little confused with the Covid Visa extension as my agency is saying I cannot renew it anymore after January, but I see on the news they are extending until March. I arrived here on a tourist visa just before first wave of covid and lockdown. A few days before my visa was due to expire I went for a long term visa as volunteer (1 year). After the volunteer visa expired I changed my visa to covid visa and made already one extension which will expire on the 21st of March. I am schedule to go back to Europe on the 30th of April, for that reason I wanted to extend one last time before leaving. Does anyone here know if there is any option for me to extended my covid visa. Advice and help would be much appreciated, thank you in advance.

No sorry, you are at the end of the road. Best you could get is a 7 day stamp to leave the country

apply for a covid extension, pay 1900b and get a formal rejection. 7 days stamped from the day of your application to get out of Dodge...

You can't extend as you were on a volunteer visa. Only visa exempt and tourist visas can extend using the covid extensions now.

sorry but can I ask you. I am on a tourist visa 60 days, I have extended it for a further 30 days. Are you saying I can extend a further 60 days? How do I do that and under what reason?

yes, as a tourist visa you can extend if you've had a 30 day extension. As to what reasons...the usual I cannot travel stuff

I entered as tourist, then volunteer visa, then switched to covid visa... which I extended once already. So not sure why I cannot extended again if officials already said they are extending covid visa.

Your last visa was a Non Imm O. Covid extentions for that status ended on 25th January.

, there is no such thing as a covid visa.

doesn't matter, the volunteer visa is the reason why you're no longer eligible for a covid extension. You can always go down to immigration and see if they'll give you an extension but I don't fancy your chances of being successful.

a COVID-19 visa doesn’t exist. Look in the passport- it says “extension of stay “. An extension of stay is not a visa.
