I currently hold a valid non-b visa and work permit. I forgot to get a re-entry permit before leaving the country but plan to return within the next week. Will this still be acceptable to enter Thailand with this? I am aware that tourist visas are no longer being issued.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice about their ability to enter Thailand after forgetting to secure a re-entry permit on their non-B visa and work permit. Since the law seems strict during the current travel restrictions due to COVID-19, several commenters suggest that without a re-entry permit, the user may need to apply for a new non-B visa or possibly consider other visa options, such as the Thai Elite visa. There is also uncertainty regarding tourist visas, as they are currently not being issued, and other commenters mention that travelers might face additional entry requirements related to COVID-19.
I did the same thing, only had one month on my new visa, at a cost of 20,000 baht and when I came back in, they put a line through it and gave me a 30 day visa. I had to pay for a new retirement visa again.

No worries. I thought that might be the case. Any surrounding countries still issuing tourist visas where I could wait things out?

Cheers for the quick response. I think dealing with the embassy at this time is going to be near impossible. Is there any word on when tourist visas will be issued again?
Currently all of the thai embassies in the US are closed until april 1st, and the state of emergency restricting foriegners from entering Thailand is effective until april 30th.
They may lift if before the, or extend it beyond that. I'd just sit tight for a couple weeks and see what happens.
