I don't have a whole blank page left, but have plenty of unused space on random pages, can enter Thailand?

I just need a stamp as I am on visa exemption program, have plenty of room for stamps... I think it shouldn't be a problem. I am flying home to get new passport and all good connecting flights are from Bangkok, so I need to enter Thailand, possibly via land or air.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses concerns about entering Thailand with a passport that has plenty of unused space for stamps but is not entirely blank. Various commenters share their experiences, indicating that it's generally acceptable as long as there are at least a couple of pages available for stamps. They mention that Thai immigration has previously stamped in the middle of the passport and that travelers can request officers to stamp in specific areas. There's also concern about airline policies regarding passport pages, but overall, it appears that entry should not be a problem.

I have to fly home to get new passport. So if they not allow on a plane because of my passport, it will be a foolish irony

oh Well 😂

I could just tell from my experience, I had 3 pages left and thai airways told me it could happen that immigration officer won’t let me pass

With ETA’s and electronic gates replacing immig officers, stamps will become a thing of the past, all my trips this year to Aus and SIN /Malaysia required no stamps Thailand is heading that way as well can’t come soon enough

You can show them where to stamp,i make some years ago, with pencil,on the pages 4-6 squers everywhere.

And they used exactly this spaces!!!

I got annoyed over there reckless waisting space in my passport.

Thai immigration stamped my blank passport right in the middle pages, so no problem.

As long as you have 2 pages left it should not be a problem. I say it should be because I am an extreme cautious person

No worry.

I was wondering the same thing. I don't understand how countries just randomly stamp on passport anywhere they chose. Thailand has wasted so many spaces on mine and china stamps on my last page. Why don't they stamp in order of pages. I have ton of pages with one small stamp. Shouldn't there be an international standard for stamping pages

Super frequent traveler here and ALWAYS ask the customer officer to stamp right by the other ones in a kind demeanor. This is immensely important if you travel a lot.

i travel alot and never had an issue. Thailand, no need to ask. In China, one page for the visa and one for the stamp, each time.

No problem for a Thai visa exemption stamp. I have entered Thailand before with a similar passport.
