I am on a non-immigrant B visa. I want to move to an extension based on marriage. Is it possible to change the reason for extension of a non-immigrant B to marriage at Chaeng Wattana once my current extension is up, or is my only option to leave the country, apply for a non-immigrant o, then get the extension. Thanks.

You'd need all the documentation they require for an extension of stay based on marriage AND it would go "under consideration" for 30 days before you went back and got the yearly extension inked into your passport.

I've actually NEVER seen that happen, usually if it won't fly they won't even accept your application at Chaengwattana

Yes, you can change the reason for your yearly extension of stay from one based on employment to one based on marriage to a thai national.

You MIGHT need a letter from your company stating that they know you are changing your extension and its okay. BUT as long as you meet the requirements for the extension by marriage you should be fine..
