TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus among commenters is that while booking flights can be done, it is advisable to wait before finalizing accommodation, visa, quarantine hotel, and other related requirements until closer to the travel date, as the situation regarding travel regulations may change.
No good starting 4 months in advance, if you're applying for a tourist visa, which you need to do first, it would've expired before you enter the country.
talking about the whole package starting with flights etc I'm already in Thailand and everything went smoothly. So just my way of doing things. I just wanted the questioner to know there may be many hurdles to jump. So best be prepared.
noted! But if you need a visa and the necessary documents. Book asq hotel or sandbox. Book flights. Apply COE. All need careful consideration. Bearing in mind that Thailand will join the red list as of August 30th
i was one of first ones to get into country on non immigrant O last July 2020, been there done it and i am coming from Singapore, will book all this weekend
so easy for you with your experience but not as easy for others from different destinations. For example from uk I received COE within 2 hours but a friend of mine in the USA waited 15 days.
Hope you right mate near the time if I could contact you to talk me through the process I'm not good doing things online if still required thanks for your help
