Hello! I have a question regarding visa extensions. My original visa is a 60-day tourist visa, which can be extended for another 30 days. I have received the extension. However, I would like to stay for one more month. Is there any way to apply for another extension? I’ve seen people mention the covid extension. Do you know if it is possible to get this on top of the regular tourist visa extension?

The Tourist Visa gives you 60 days and a 30 day Extension of Stay, that is it. Unless you can meet requirements to convert into a Non Immigrant visa.

Until 25 Jan there is the possibility to apply for a 60 day Extension of Stay based on unable to travel, but that is a curtesy program of the Immigration Office.

Are you sure I can do that? I got my 30 day regular visa extension last week. Will they likely change this to 60 days? Will I have to explain why it is difficult to travel?
