I have been seasoning money for an annual extension based on marriage since December 27. My current extension runs out on feb 28. Is this ok or do I need more time left on current stamp? If so I guess I can extend one time based on visiting family? Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can apply for a one-year extension based on marriage on February 28, as your money will be fully seasoned by then. If you feel you need more time, you can also opt for a 60-day extension based on visiting Thai family.
Your money would be fully seasoned on February 27. You should be able to apply for the one year extension of stay based on marriage to a Thai national on February 28th (The 27th is a Sunday).
IF you need more time, AND You haven't taken it yet, you can acquire a 60 day extension of stay based on visiting Thai family.
I know it will be seasoned in time I just wondered if there were any rules about how much time needs to be left on current stamp when applying. If there are no rules on that, I should be fine going on the 28th which is the day the stamp expires.
you can apply for a new extension right up to the last day your stamp is good for IF you want to (although it's not recommended to cut it that close, in case you need another document, etc).
Most offices allow you to apply for a new extension when you have 30 days or less left on your current stamp (and you don't lose time going early because your next extension starts the day this one ends (so your expiration date is always the same date every year)
