Hello, I am a little confused on an evisa detail. Does anyone know if it is possible to apply for an e-visa (dtv) when not in your home country but I.e already travelling?

In this case could I have already left home (Australia) and be in Malaysia travelling and apply for the DTV?

Any input is appreciated.

You apply for a visa through the Thai embassy that services where you are physically. Since none of the Thai embassies/consulates in Malaysia have adopted the e-visa system, you cannot use e-visa. You must apply in person at one of the embassies in Malaysia.

If you want to use e-visa, then you must go to a country where the Thai embassy has adopted e-visa.
