I'm currently on STV and have done two 90 day extensions. My visa is due to expire on November 7. With the renewal of the STV program - does anyone know if it can be applied for a second time?
I'm Canadian so preferably without leaving to renew in my home country.
Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Special Tourist Visa (STV) can be applied for a second time; however, it must be done from the applicant's home country, which in this case is Canada. Currently, one must leave Thailand to apply for another STV, as extensions beyond the original terms are not permitted while remaining in the country.

To my knowledge, a person can get another STV.
>I'm Canadian so preferably without leaving to renew in my home country.
You have to renew it in your home country (Canada)

Other suggestions:
Getting a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19?
Maybe. I seen no reports of anyone being approved for a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel on an STV. I also seen no reports of anyone being rejected for this 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVIVD-19 on an STV. It's a question YOU have to ask your immigration office. However, you can not shop for immigration offices though.

STV was sold with very specific terms. 270 days maximum inside the country. As you're now completing that, you have little choice but to leave the country and evaluate your options to return.
